Photo Op.
December 6, 2008 · Posted in Photography
Most of the times I have had to go out of town for work I’ve had opportunities to take great photos. I usually don’t have time to stop and take a photo, or am too lazy to get out and take a photo, so they never realize. The pictures remain immortalized within my own head, but never make it out. This week I went to Show Low and the forest service was conducting controlled burns of the underbrush. The dense smoke and the setting sun provided some amazing photographs. The light conditions were optimal, even though I was too lazy to even pull over.

Jeez, you talk all sophisticated on here. I just write how I normally talk most of the time…. Cool shot, though.
Considering I was going 70 MPH with almost no visibility, and a few oncoming cars I was surprised I got a decent shot. The other one looks awful. I only had time to get 2 shots in before the smoke cleared out.
Very cool shot! I don’t always talk how I type either…but it’s nice to exersize both halves of my brain sometimes.
Wow! I am impressed. You should see if your boss will pay you for your photos, maybe to use for marketing materials. It would give you an excuse to take some time to smell the (burning) roses.
I think I’d rather not charge my boss for the 2 minutes it takes to stop and take a shot and sell it on my own. I’d probably get a better return.
