Desert Rain

A strange thing happens when moist air comes up from Mexico and mixes with the hot desert sun; very isolated thunderstorms occur. Today we had one pass over our house. It only rained on a path about a half mile wide, but rain it did. The nice thing about these types of storms is the wonder photo opportunities it presents. With the rain, clouds, and setting sun in one place, exquisite light conditions exist.
