Creative Writing

Laurie says my posts sound boring. I guess I spend so much time writing technical reports at work and school that the flair is gone (if there ever was one). I need help! How do I write more creatively?

Write how you talk… Although, you’re not as animated as me! 🙂 But it’s better than writing all scientific-like.
Pretend you’re telling me in person – how you would say it… Not how it would sound professionally.
I wouldn’t call you boring…but yeah, like Laurie said- Just write how you would talk. It’s actually easier to just not really think about it and just start writing. Of course, you then run the risk of rambling, as I just have.
