He was a weaver.⁷ He lived on 4 Apr 1733 in Amwell, Hunterdon County, NJ.⁸ He was elected an elder of the Amwell Church of the Brethren (Tunker, Dunker, German Baptist) succeeding John Naas who died 12 May 1741, circa 1735 Amwell, Hunterdon, NJ.⁹ He was naturalized in NJ (a necessary requirement to allow him to purchase land) on 11 Aug 1755. He lived on 5 Jun 1775 in Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, NJ. He lived on 29 Mar 1776 in Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Elizabeth Becker was born circa 1724. She married Jacob Stump, son of Julius Stump, circa 1745.¹⁰ She died before 1756.¹¹
