2. Margaret2 Bechtelsheimer (Johan1) was born on 27 Apr 1723. She married Abraham Lawshe, son of Johannes Jacob Van Laaschet and Cathrine (--?--).13 She died on 28 Nov 1814 at age 91.
Abraham Lawshe was born on 12 May 1732 in Krefeld, Germany.14 He died on 20 Dec 1819 in Amwell, Hunterdon County, NJ at age 87. He was also known as Abraham Lausche.15 He was also known as Abraham Van Laschett.16

3. Abraham2 Picklesimer Sr (Johan1 Bechtelsheimer) was christened on 21 Jun 1730 Readington Church, Readington Township, Hunterdon, NJ. He married Christenah (--?--).17,18,19
He and Christenah (--?--) lived between 1782 and 1790 Botetourt County, VA. He and Christenah (--?--) lived between 1791 and 1795 Montgomery County, VA.20 He and Christenah (--?--) lived between 1796 and 1802 Botetourt County, VA.
Christenah (--?--) was born circa 1743. She died before 20 Mar 1803. She was also known as Christianna.21 She lived on 30 May 1801 Montgomery County, VA.

4. John2 Picklesimer Sr (Johan1 Bechtelsheimer) was born circa 1733 Hunterdon County, NJ. He married Sophia Slingluff, daughter of Henry Slingluff, circa 1753 PA.23,24 He married Anne (--?--) circa 1759. He married Elizabeth Rinker, daughter of (--?--) Rinker, circa 1780.25,26,27 He died circa 1806 Franklin County, VA.
Note: date of birth estimated from date on birth of eldest child, John, Jr. He was a reedmaker.28 Note that census enumerations, Aaron Sargent Behymer's diary, etc for the most part, indicate VA as the birthplace of most of John, Sr's children. This is not consistent with the known location of John, Sr via land transactions where he seems to have migrated from the Amwell NJ area to Frederick County, MD circa 1770, then on to Botetourt/Montgomery County, VA circa 1780 and then on to Franklin County, VA circa 1795. One of the census enumerations for John, Sr's son, Nathaniel, does, however, indicate MD as Nathaniel's birthplace (and in other census enumerations his birthplace is listed as VA). Most of John, Sr's children undoubtedly grew up in VA, and so, in the author's opinion, VA was listed as their birthplace by the census takers incorrectly. Note: John, Sr had 14 or 15 children by 3 wives. The children are known conclusively from 3 primary sources: (1) the Nauvoo Temple Baptisms for the Dead recorded by John, Sr's son, Jonathan, in the mid 1840s; (2) Aaron Sargent Behymer's diaries; and (3) a 1 Feb 1893 Clermont Courier newspaper article on the family. These relationships are shown pictorially in what I refer to as the Behymer Rosetta Stone which is posted on my web site. He lived on 10 Mar 1761 in Amwell, Hunterdon County, NJ. He lived between 1771 and 1778 Frederick County, MD. He lived between 1782 and 1789 Botetourt County, VA. He lived between 1790 and 1795 Montgomery County, VA. He lived between 1795 and 1805 Franklin County, VA.

5. Jacob2 Picklesimer Sr (Johan1 Bechtelsheimer) was born between 1740 and 1750 Hunterdon County, NJ.55 He married Elizabeth (--?--).56,57,58 He married Priscilla (--?--) on 19 Nov 1822 Warren County, OH. He died circa 11 Jun 1832 in Oxford Township, Butler County, OH.
He refused to enroll according to the resolves of the Convention. on 29 Apr 1776 MD.59 He lived between 1782 and 1789 Botetourt County, VA. He lived between 1790 and 1803 Montgomery County, VA. He lived between 1804 and 1806 Montgomery County, OH. He lived between 1809 and 1819 in Turtle Creek Township, Warren County, OH. He and Elizabeth (--?--) lived on 29 Mar 1813 Warren County, OH. He and Elizabeth (--?--) lived on 27 Apr 1815 Warren County, OH. He and Elizabeth (--?--) appeared on the census of 1820 in Sycamore Township, Hamilton County, OH.60 He and Elizabeth (--?--) lived on 20 Apr 1821 Hamilton County, OH. He and Priscilla (--?--) lived between 1823 and 1830 in Washington Township, Montgomery County, OH. He and Priscilla (--?--) appeared on the census of 1830 in Oxford Township, Butler County, OH.61
Elizabeth (--?--) was born between 1740 and 1750.
Children of Jacob2 Picklesimer Sr and Elizabeth (--?--) were as follows:
Priscilla (--?--) was born between 1760 and 1770.62 She married (--?--) McNeal. As of 19 Nov 1822, her married name was Beckelhymer. She lived in 1834 in Oxford Township, Butler County, OH.
There were no children of Jacob2 Picklesimer Sr and Priscilla (--?--).
